Salt of the Earth, the days of Noah, the example of Lot & the Rapture
Our Lord made several comparisons of true believers to salt, the salt of the earth: Salt has always served two purposes: To season and to preserve.

Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
In Luke, chap 14 our Lord had just finished discussing "counting the costs" of belief in Him. Counting the costs is why many will not accept the Lord, they know that it will transform their lives and they do not want to lose this life here. “Christian”, were you aware of this when you “believed”?
And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Our belief is what seasons the earth to maintain God’s interest in it.
Our belief is what preserves the rest of the earth from God’s Wrath.
Our Lord made specific comparisons of how life on earth would be like just prior to the catching away of the "remnant" of true believers. God says of the rapture that “as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the Coming of the Son of Man”. The context of Matt 24 continues
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left....
You see, our Lord directly compares the rescue from the flood to the Catching Away of the Church or "rapture" prior to His Wrath being poured out over the whole unbelieving world.
Rewind back to Adam and the generations that followed him and Eve. The early generations were taught of God by Adam & Eve and their subsequent offspring. However, as the centuries marched on leading to the flood the generations gradually forgot God and did what was right in their own eyes. Sounds very similar to the world right now. Right has become wrong, up has become down, good has become bad. False "gospels" abound all over the world especially the western cultures. Since our Lord made stark comparison between the flood and the catching away of the church it is reasonable to say that in Noah's time the world drifted far away from the Lord and His true servants became fewer and fewer...hence the flood. This is the same trend that we are seeing now. The Great Falling away from true faith occurred then just as it is occurring now.

Please look at the Bible from a strategic standpoint with me for a moment:
The trend of "winding down" faith resulting in God’s Wrath is definitively present in the Bible. The Flood is the first example I will expand on in a moment. Another example is Sodom and Lot.
Several centuries after the flood, a believer named Abraham came along. His nephew was a believer also by the name of Lot. God told Abraham He was about to destroy the city of Sodom in which Abraham's nephew lived and to warn Lot to get out and away from the city with his family.

​This city at one time feared God to some degree but as the years turned into centuries the inhabitants grew increasingly lawless losing almost all fear of God and turning what is right into wrong; what is up into down; what is good into bad. At the same time, true believers within the city became fewer and fewer until only Lot and his family remained. THIS IS THE CLEAR TREND THAT ALWAYS RESULTS IN GOD'S WRATH. This what being the salt of the earth is all about to season and preserve it for the Lord. That is what we are. More on that below so keep reading.
Abraham then pleaded with God to spare the city if 50 believers within could be found, God agreed (of course the Omniscient God knew there was only Lot's family who were believers within the city) ; but Abraham kept pleading with God, now 40, then 30 then if there would be only 10 within the city would God spare it and God said yes. But there was only the Lot family. God "raptured" or evacuated them out and then destroyed the city.

This trend is evidenced throughout Israel's history, take the example of Ezekiel 22, in it the same trend appears: When the people turn against the True God and true believers decrease to nearly none, leaving only twisted apostates then God gives the same warnings:

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.
​
The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
The important issue that should be a question for all is this statement from our Lord in the VERY SAME context as His comparison between Noah and the Catching away of the Church:
Nevertheless when the Son of Man cometh (rapture), shall he find faith on the earth? This is in keeping with earlier precedence of the Flood and the example of Sodom & Gomorrah
Remember as it was in the days of Noah so shall it be at the rapture by the Son of Man. As in Noah's day only 8 were considered righteous or justified in God's Eyes. Why would we be thinking multiple millions will be raptured? Few will actually be raptured, merely a remnant. I seriously doubt the "church" as denomination-ally known today will even notice it, even the sects that claim to be looking for Him. Regardless of the population estimate disparities at the time of the flood (ranging from 1 million to 40 billion depending where you read about it) we are still talking about a fraction of a fraction of a percentage point.

Our Lord never said millions will be raptured. As a matter of fact He said at the end of the Tribulation He will return with 10 thousands of His saints- Jude 1:14. A fraction of a fraction of multiple millions folks.
In Lots case only 4 were raptured from the city. A city with an estimated population at the time of its destruction between 100-500K. Regardless of which, the percentage of true believers (believers that God knows, not the other way around) is still a fraction of a fraction of one percentage point.
We may claim “Lord, Lord” have we not done this and that in your Name but it only matters if He knows us. Do you know for sure in your spirit, that He DOES KNOW YOU? That is what He means by this statement which comes at the end of His Sermon on the Mount. The sermon that matches Galatians 5:22 perfectly but only gets a summary gloss over once in a great while in all these “christian churches”.

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. What is iniquity you ask?
​
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
​
Iniquity to God are the root sins within the heart that you cannot see outwardly. Symptoms of these can be seen but never the iniquity itself. Pride, lust, envy, etc...The closer you walk with Christ, the less you will regard pride, lust and envy, etc.

Since the late 19th and the turn of the 20th century in which the world's great industrial revolution began, the farther man drifted away from acknowledgement of the True Creator. At the same time and as usual throughout man's history the Scriptural Gospel became lost also. Replaced by cheapened perversions worldwide by some of the greatest names among apostates. Now today there is nowhere on the planet from which the true Gospel Message from God is preached overtly.
As technology has increased, man's pride of life and greed increased. Of course, with this also man's acknowledgement and belief in the God of the Bible has diminished. At the same time true believers have diminished to nearly nothing JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER TIME GOD UNLEASHED HIS WRATH.

This is what I mean when I ask people, are you sure you trusted in the Jesus of the Bible, the one who made it clear what the costs would be to any who picked up their cross and followed Him?
Are you a new believer in the Gospel? Heed these warnings friends. Have you been saved for 10, 20, 30 years now and still have no desire to be like your Savior (except when prompted of course)? I mean like your Savior as HE said it in the Sermon on the Mount or Galatians, chapter 5? Then I urge you to listen intently to His Word as often as possible. True faith comes by hearing the Word of God, sanctification comes as faith increases and so does spiritual assurance of salvation. Human assurance is useless, only you know your heart. Keep reading, I discuss this in more detail later.
Or did you trust in the “cheapened” version of Christ’s gift to you. One that grays the lines of belief and regeneration turning them into lip service. Mental ascent to a cost counted “gospel” followed up by repeated human assurances of salvation by fellow church members is in NO WAY Scriptural.
You are familiar with it I am sure. It is the cost-counting “gospel” of fiction. He specifically warned us to stay away from this apostasy. The One that suffered in your place, despising the shame, taking your eternal torment upon Himself for what? Just so you could continue your worldly ambitions of career and family and vacations and entertainments down here. You have allowed yourselves to be deceived and will have no one to blame at your judgment.

The fictional "Jesus" which is proclaimed worldwide in these last days never said belief in Him would result in 3 visits to church a week and 10% of your income. The Scriptural Jesus of the Bible said emphatically that the Spirit would transform us into 24/7/365 day, 100% followers of Him. If this doesn't describe you then do you honestly think you are one?

The real Gospel Christ taught was His Life for ours. Real evidence of belief and regeneration by the Spirit results only in one outcome: Our life here for His.
Until a believer "gets" this they are still dead in trespasses and sins.
How do they "get" this? By listening to God only my friends. There are no known preachers/ministers/clergy in the world who preach Christ's Gospel and teachings, they only preach perversion plucked out of the Epistles. Therefore, your only hope is to take matters into your own hands immediately. Your pastor/priest/preacher can't help you with this folks, if they knew God's Truth, they certainly would have shared it with you by now.

There is no Gospel message contained in Scripture different that this. Only false religious brainwashing plucks God's intent out of its context to deceive.
The saddest and most pathetic part of all of this is that nearly all of whom name the name of Christ counted the costs beforehand. Their agreement to believe was hinged solely on how easy the results of belief would be felt by the believer. If most are honest with themselves, they will realize this. But if not, you have been warned.

Listen "christian" if your "faith" is not transforming you actively into Christ's Image. If your "faith" has not made you completely want to lose your temporary ambitions and goals on earth and follow Christ only, then your "faith" was in vain. This is not complicated friends. Christ said clearly true belief results in conformance into HIS IMAGE. If this is not the "gospel" you were taught then back to the drawing board friends, there is still time.

The aftermath of the catching away will leave 99% of “christian called churches” completely intact with perhaps one or two people missing.
You know, the one or two everyone else thought was weird because they truly did lose all interest in the temporary of this world. They didn’t waste their precious time here on entertainments, hobbies, fishing, sport-hunting, shopping for the unnecessary and don’t forget the all consuming passion about spectator sports. Their eyes were on a Heavenly Kingdom only. Just like the believers throughout the New Testament Scriptures.
The difference between them and most is this: The remnant still on earth at the rapture will have at some point in their spiritual life felt the crushing weight of Scripture on their hearts and caused them to believe unto righteousness. They turned from professing “Christian” into a disciple of Christ as He always said true belief would do. Because finally the heart under enough conviction from the seeds, becomes good ground. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God, the more you hear intently the stronger your faith grows. Scriptural regeneration as described by our Lord in John 3:6-8:
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
That does not sound like the nonsense reassurances most of the professing constantly give. You said the words so you must be born again? You started your "relationship" with Jesus so you must be saved?
My friends , there is no such Scriptural thing as a "saved on" date. That lie has been propagaded to the ends of the earth, satan has made sure of that.

Jesus just said above that noone knows the instant of true heart faith/regeneration of the Spirit, only God does.
We tell people they are saved and then give outrageous amounts of mental reassurance and then teach them rules of conduct and dress, constantly reassuring in every sermon NEVER GIVING THEM A CHANCE TO BE SCRIPTURALLY BORN AGAIN. The current crop of apostate preachers and teachers will soon be exposed.

Nowhere in Scripture does God even once say that to profess Christ as Savior makes you instantly “saved”. Every instance states clearly that a person "shall" be or "will be" saved (indicating a later date) if your faith was transforming you into His Image. If your "faith" however requires repetitive reassurances and prompting from others, do you honestly think you have been reborn?
The truth is that the seeds you received were not from the Word of God but the word of men. they were given to purposely "not offend" you and they were given to allow you to keep all "the cares of this life" and yet still somehow be "saved".
The last few generations have turned the Truth of God into a lie. Satan introduced a nearly non-intrusive false “jesus” to the world. A religious "jesus" with religious expectations, nothing more.

This "false jesus" of fiction has been around since the first century. God corrected its course with the general Epistles which kept alive the number of truly born again growing house to house for another two centuries. Then satan's masterpiece was created in roughly 300 AD. This masterpiece of apostasy was called the Roman Catholic Church. The real Church of the New Testament went underground and has been there ever since.

Yes, I do mean underground. The protestant reformation turned out to be political/religious upheaval and NOT a Scriptural one. The protestants left the overtly pagan practices of the Roman Catholic Church only. The Protestants did not leave the roman catholic nicolaitan doctrine however. They did not leave its elevation of men, it's centralized, corporate type administration, its man-empire building. The Protestant leaders never intended to take the church back to the Bible and what God intended His local churches to be - THE home church, growing and expanding out house to house as clearly demonstrated in Acts and the Epistles. God's model of the local church in Acts IS THE MODEL THAT TURNED THE WORLD upside down in the first centuries after Christ's Ascension.

Oh no sir, these apostate protestant early leaders only wanted to take authority away from the pope and his hierarchy to give it to themselves. They merely transferred nicolaitan rulership.
Although the reformers claimed and still claim that the reformation was to free people from the Roman apostasy, Lesser identified apostasies remain within all of them. After you have read this article please see my article on Nicolaitans under the Are you Wheat or Weed category.

This false "gospel" of mental acceptance around the facts of Christ's birth, death and resurrection caught on like wildfire in the 1960s with the likes of Billy Graham and John R. Rice. It is a "gospel" plucked out of the context of the Epistles of Paul. Plucked out and totally isolated from their contexts within those same Epistles. Turning the truth in their contexts into lies.

Every single Epistle when studying within their own contexts mirror identically Christ's own teachings in the Gospels.
Jesus throughout the Gospels made it crystal clear to all who choose to follow Him that they would have to lose their lives down here to find their life eternal. There is no such thing in the Bible as a part time “believer”, several hours a week for the Lord’s “work” but the rest for me and my temporal pursuits down here. Jesus made it clear that He is all or nothing. Hot or cold but never lukewarm. All in or All out was always Christ's Point in these passages. If you are not ALL IN, then you are all out. It is a direct contradiction to logic to claim you are born again, eyes open and Spirit Indwelt and at the same time not want to be ALL IN...
Doing their church work for all to see (or they wouldn’t do it at all) all the while their hearts are focused on their next vacation or next promotion at work or their next hobby purchase. All who are truly saved and not tares, will replace their life here with His Life here. Saving faith TRANSFORMS THEM COMPLETELY from the temporary to the ETERNAL in all areas of their lives.

This is how God's Foreknowledge creates His Elect who WILL WANT NOTHING ELSE IN LIFE BUT TO BE CONFORMED UNTO HIS IMAGE (predestination). This predestination means that if you are truly Christ's, you will have diminished interest in any temporary endeavors period.
How can we claim to be a christian but follow not His Teachings with every ounce of our being?

How can we believe we have eternal life but not live for the eternal? If you are reborn by the Spirit of God into a new creature but still cling to worldly ambitions, goals and pursuits apart from making a basic living, do you honestly think you are reborn? Reborn from what and into what is my question for you "christian"?
​
Let me put another way: If your life is not focused only on the eternal, do you really believe you instantly and currently have eternal life?
​
Had you received the Gospel directly from Christ in His Gospels you would know this. But and as with most in this last century and especially the last 50 years, you received a plucked out and deluded fantasy version of something for nothing. I am sorry folks but they sold you a Gospel devoid of any of Christ's teachings then falsely declared you born again anyway. How would they know the difference when this same cheap, false perversion is what they themselves believed?

This cheap Gospel is a mockery to our Lord. Tares are taught by tares that Christ's teaching do not apply to us but are merely suggestions. The real Gospel of Scripture teaches clearly that Christ's teaching in the Sermon on the mount IS THE NEW BIRTH. Saving faith results in the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22) which just so happens to mirror the Sermon on the Mount perfectly.

The Gift of God is absolutely free for those who believe it as absolutely real. Meaning, they believe with every ounce of their being that their faith in Christ will save them from eternal torment in a forever burning Hell. If they receive this gift, their life here as they knew it is over completely. NOT TO BE MODIFIED into a set of religious dos and donts but keeping their worldly ambitions and pleasures. Did you then and do you now KNOW in your spirit that God's Gift is absolutely real??

The kind of "real" like it was to the first church believers? So real that they became fools for Christ?
​
In other words of Jesus: No man having put his hand to the plough and looking back at the world is fit for the Kingdom of God.
​
Don't get this wrong folks, I am not talking about living for Heaven and in full service following Christ to be born again of the Spirit.
I am saying clearly that being born of the Spirit will absolutely result in this desire and life long pursuit of following Christ and spreading His Gospel.
​
This kind of belief never needs men’s reassurances, the Spirit bears witness with our spirits that we are the children of God. How can any other person possibly declare you as born again? Where did this declaration occur anywhere in Scripture? Answer: No where my friends.
This kind of saving faith never needs lists of what we are allowed to do of the world now and what we are not allowed to do of the world now. This type of true belief makes one understand and obey God when He says that ALL that is in the world is lust and pride and is not of the Father, but is of the world.
It boils down to this friends, Jesus was asked repeatedly "Lord how can I be saved" throughout His Ministry on earth. He always said the SAME THING in reply, one of many examples is the rich, religious man in Mark 10:22:

Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.

Another example is to His Disciples: Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
​
Now friend, please take heed to this question and ponder it well in your hearts: If you received a gospel presentation when you "believed" that did not include what Jesus clearly stated REPEATEDLY throughout the Gospels about saving faith, then you have believed a lie and are still dead in trespasses and sins.
​
It MATTERS NOT your devotion to your "christian religion", your wonderful works for God or your abstinence from overt sin. Whether you follow the sacraments or the ordinances or the fundamentalist baptist lists of what you can do of the world and what you cannot do of the world, you have believed a lie by systematic brainwashing.

Let me explain further:

The vast majority of salvation testimonies heard these days since the 1960s sound the same:
A presentation of the "gospel" is given them either by a stranger or acquaintance or they were a guest or visitor at an evangelical or "soul-winning" church.
Everything the preacher said sounded reasonable as far as they could tell and after all, the preacher explained that they will get out of hell free if they simply say they believe the facts around Christ's birth, life, death and resurrection as historically recorded in Scripture. If they say they believe this, then they are declared saved by these men.

They came out of courtesy to those who invited them and perhaps a little curiosity but rarely seeking God's Truth so it is fitting that they receive men's delusions instead.
​
They are then not only declared saved but declared instantaneously saved with immediate everlasting life. This is men pretending to be the Holy Spirit of God. This is another reason human assurances of salvation are damning them, not helping them. Unless your objective is to make their flesh feel good that is?
​
This is the truth from I Corinthians 3: Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
​
Tie this together with John 3:6-8 discussed earlier. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

These "churches" propagate their own increases into their own apostate perversion of Christianity. The true problem is mammon. If your livelihood is dependent upon numbers then compromise is inevitable. If preachers followed God's example of His local church (home churches in every neighborhood) and not Rome's example of nicolaitan rulership perhaps they would not compromise God's Truths.

Now the repetitive reassurances of this cheap, false "gospel" are given by every member of the typical church and through every sermon preached effectively brainwashing them. According to our Lord, this is how tares are made.
​
“He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.”
​
The big problem here is no one told us when we got repeated a "salvation prayer" the words of Jesus:
​
Luke 14: 25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,
26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?
32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.
34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?
35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

LET THE DEAD BURY THE DEAD - Jesus Christ

If you truly believe that you are being saved by God's Grace from eternal torment in Hell you will want to follow Him with all your heart. Until you clearly see this in Scripture, you have yet to be born-again of the Spirit. If any person have not the Spirit of Christ - they are none of His.
​
If what happened to you was anything less than that then you are a tare by Christ's definition my friend
​
They counted the costs for you when they presented a cheap "gospel" eliminating any real conviction you may have been under from the Holy Spirit.
​
This is nowhere in the contexts of Scripture. Nowhere in the Gospels and nowhere in the Epistles.
They threw seeds on rocky soil and then spent months or years convincing them that they are saved personally and in every sermon constantly from their pulpits reinforcing this damnable heresy.
​
Inoculating them from the true Gospel.
​
You must stop the way you are going friends, because it is empty religion to God. I urge you to consider eliminating the noise of this inoculating false "gospel" completely. You will never know saving faith by listening to men in these last days. They are the blind leading the blind - ALL OF THEM. Stop looking to them, they are sending you to hell in the "name of a fictional jesus".

Listen folks, there are no Biblical "churches" anywhere in the open anymore. They are nicolaitan in doctrine and have followed Rome in structure and administration. The home church spreading from house to house was God's instructions in Acts and the Epistles, no denomination nor sect will recognize this by careful design.
​
The real "church" Christ died for has been underground since the start of the Roman Catholic heresy in 300AD.

Listen to God 2-4 hours daily. Stop listening to any preaching from any preacher and listen only to God, praying for the Spirit's Guidance. Listen to all the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) first and repeat them five times in a row consecutively. Then the Book of Acts five times in a row, then the remainder of the New Testament Epistles (Romans all the way through Jude). Repeat them five times, then you will be far readier for the Book of Revelation than you ever thought you could be. You will be born again during this time by God's Word and God's Spirit (Like He said in John 3:8). God made clear that "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God". You will finally understand what this means and you will understand just how meaningless the world is in every way. Nothing will appeal to you about it now. As you discover new truths every time to you listen intently praying for the Spirits guidance, soon you will know the peace that HE KNOWS YOU.
