Would a true believer and follower of Christ place a vail OVER the New Testament?

A vail of blindness over their hearts preventing them from overcoming the world.

Just as the false Jews who rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago maintained a vail over their hearts in the study of the Old Testament. Likewise, with the New Testament so do the vast majority of last-days “christians”. These maintain a VAIL over their own hearts in the study of the Christ's Direct Teachings throughout the New Testament.

II Corinthians 3: 13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Leaving all the cares of this temporary life behind as Jesus repeatedly said true, saving belief in Him would result in through the Spirit’s indwelling. Most who claim Christ as Savior conversely equate their salvation, new birth or regeneration as merely the addition of faith in Christ to their world-loving life to get them out of hell. Christ’s teachings which Scripturally determines who is a true follower of Him and who is not are ignored completely and instead replaced with a set of “new laws” in a false “jesus” name.

Galatians 5: 1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

7Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

Nowhere in Scripture does God ever make a separating distinction between a "believer" and a "disciple". They are always presented as one-in-the-same. Not only in the Gospels of Christ but throughout the entirety of the New Testament when studied in verse, chapter and Book context as God intended. This is the "good seed" mentioned in the parables of the "sower" and "tare". A believer in Scripture is always a disciple or follower of Christ. We (current believers or disciples) "make" new disciples or followers of Christ by teaching them the Gospel of Christ as He presented it, which absolutely includes teaching them to follow everything Christ Himself taught as Christ taught it. Problem is 99% presently do not teach what Christ taught.

This false gospel is derived from cleverly plucked-out and isolated passages from the New Testament Church Epistles (Romans-Thessalonians), distorted and turned into bad seed resulting in whole churches and denominations of tares lead by tares.

Some weed sects are far more religious in "Jesus Name" than others but all teach similar distortions of Christ's Gospel message. The more religious or strict of these sects promote will worship as evidence of a "new birth" but continue in their natural state, having no interest in being like their Lord. They misuse His Name having a form of godliness but denying the Power thereof. These are hearers of His Word but not doers of His Word, deceiving themselves. They have neither been taught to nor given the desire to overcome the world. These are "born" of men's tradition and not born of God.

They do the traditions taught them by their hirelings very well however. They stop of the activities of the world they are taught to stop by men but keep the true lusts of the flesh and the world in religious form...pride, envy, covetousness....all the things of the world God hates the most just as the pharisees did in our Lord's day.

True faith causes the regeneration of the Spirit into a new man. We then become the greatest paradox of history. The new inside the old. The Spirit of Christ within the spirit of man. The continuous battle then begins. It is the battle against the nature of man to overcome the world as Christ Himself did.

Whenever questioned about their “Christianity” in regards to Christ’s direct teachings, these end days "christians" intermingle the Old Testament with the New Testament in order to maintain their false “Christ” and false “gospel”. Which in reality has transformed nothing in their hearts. The have merely added religious rules to their outward lives.

Regardless of their devotion to their new religious rules, their “church” or their “pastor” they are UNBELIEVERS in the New Testament of Christ.

These make apostate assertions that Christs direct teachings are not for believers in this age constantly quoting plucked-out and isolated passages of Scripture from the New Testament Epistles and then blending them into OT passages attempting to justify pride, vanity, wrath, strife, sedition, murder, and war for themselves. Refusing to see that Christ’s direct teachings are reiterated and reinforced throughout these same Epistles in their true contexts.

These are tares, weeds and goats before the Lord. Just as blind and lost as the unbelieving Jews who purposefully maintain a vail over the Old Testament and reject the New. Although these claim a "jesus" it is never the Jesus revealed in the New Testament. These cherry pick New Testament Scriptures to adorn their fleshly appetites exercising religious rules and rituals instead of true and transforming belief in the Lord Jesus Christ:

Colossians 2: 20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

21 (Touch not; taste not; handle not; 22 Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

23 Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.

Chapter 3:1 continues: If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

They espouse the traditions of men delivered to them by their hireling pastors. Maintaining a false “Christ” in all they say, all the while ignoring and even refuting humility, meekness, peacemaking, turning the other cheek, giving to all that ask-looking for nothing in return, loving their enemies and their neighbors as themselves.

They cannot comprehend being crucified with Christ, death to self and this temporary world: They insist on maintaining a vail over their hearts to the mystery of Godliness revealed in the New Testament.

II Corinthians 4: 1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11 For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Listen to II Corinthians here: Listen to God's Word

They intermingle the OT (which Christ abolished) with the NT to maintain and justify fleshly desires of true sin: This is the reason why these last days apostate churches are full of this:

II Corinthians 2: 20For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: They were proselyted by the blind (vailed) and therefore are the blind (vailed) led by the blind (vailed).

There is no Spirit of Christ within them and if any man have not the Spirit of Christ; he is none of His

There is only the spirit of man within them. The flesh loves religion and rules (the more outwardly pious the better) as long as those rules do not contradict their flesh. In other words AS LONG AS THEY CAN DISPLAY AND TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WILL-WORSHIP. This describes the teachings and doctrines of ALL sects and denominations existing today.

The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit, neither can he know them because they are Spiritually discerned.

These last days “Christian leaders” claim to be reborn of the Spirit of God but the evidence demonstrates that they are born only once and of the spirit of the world. They have religion – not eternal life.

Galatians 5: 15 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  This concept is totally foreign to them. Many may practice a fake "charity" to others but never in secret with no human eyes to behold it.

These appear righteous outwardly for display but their hearts seen by God are full of the below traits.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, hatred, variance, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galatians Chapter 5: 22-25 is a reiteration of the results of saving faith Christ spoke of in detail during His Sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapter 5-7. See below:

Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another. This is the SPIRIT OF CHRIST. Do you have it my friends? DO YOU?

A true believer’s only desire for the remainder of their physical life on earth is to learn from the Lord Jesus Christ’s teachings and to follow them in the Holy Spirit's Power. Always remember that men look upon the outward appearance but God looks only upon the heart.

That is what Christianity is all about. When we fully trust Christ as Lord and therefore Savior we realized we are for the Glory of God to crucify also our owns lives in this world here.

I know it sounds cliche but in every action or reaction you have after the new birth is to be in keeping with this thought: what would JESUS do right this second?

Listen only to God in these last days my friends, we are all running out of time…. Please see our Bread of Life page for the secret and key to your eternal life. The secret and key that no preacher, pastor, clergy or minister has, although ALL of them claim to. These mammon loving "professional" clergy are all liars and are deceiving you because their own hearts are vailed to the truth.
